Wrongfully Jailed Men to Get $101 Million

The framing of innocent men….

What does it mean that these 4 men were awarded what appears to be the largest sum ever awarded in such a case?

If you, were Mr. Limone, would you have exchanged decades of your life for $26 million – I wouldn’t.

If you, were Mr. Salvati , would you have exchanged decades of your life for $29 million – I wouldn’t.

If you, were Mr. Tameleo, would you have exchanged decades of your life for $29 million – I wouldn’t.

If you, were Mr. Greco, would you have exchanged decades of your life for $29 million – I wouldn’t.

Henry Tameleo and Louis Greco, died in prison after being falsely convicted in the 1965 gangland murder. Peter Limone and Joseph Salvati, were exonerated in 2001. Mr. Limone was released after 33 years in prison; Mr. Salvati had been paroled in 1997.

Laws broken, lives ruined and rules skirted.

The one thing to Shut Up And Smile about is that justice overcame injustice.
