I glanced down from the review of the documentary, Jesus: The Lost Years and my eyes became focused upon an article written by Meg Catanzarita. The picture to the left was taken at the White Branch Library in Syracuse N.Y. -- the same place where I received my very first library card.
Given the theme of my website ShutUpAndSmile.com that will be launched later this week, I quickly picked up on her comment: "Kindness looks like a smile, a gesture, a nod, an openness to a stranger or friend's innate goodness and possibility. I know for sure when someone believes in my possibility, I begin to change and become a part of that belief."
I was compelled to read the entire article and loved how she ended with the thought: "I believe if we keep a sense of humor, demonstrate courage and kindness, listen to children, read books and newspapers, share our stories and continue to search for our passion, we will have operated in good faith. When they carve out our kindness rating on our tombstones, it may be better than we expected."
I have met very few people that espouse so well, all the belief's I hold close to my heart and was fortunate enough to marry a woman of similar character. Read the entire article HERE.
