Even a toddler can be a hero

A tad young to be a hero, perhaps, but that's the way his dad, Ballenas teacher Kevin McMillen, looks at it.

"It's pretty cool when you have someone to look up to, and he's in your own house," he says. "That little guy is tough, man."

Cancer treatment is hard on anyone, but imagine what it's like before you're even old enough to talk. "The only way he communicated, because he was so young, was through his eyes." Read more.
