'Gran Torino': Clint Eastwood's Best

Today I saw the movie Gran Torino and confess it made my day.

It was Harry Callahan and the Man with No Name matured times 5. I noticed the movie hadn’t been nominated for an Oscar. Not for Best Picture or Best Actor. It appears Gran Torino was too politically incorrect for Hollywood. You know, the Hollywood that overlooks this top notch movie with the great acting of Clint Eastwood. Hollywood’s snub says a lot more about the Academy then Clint. Slumdog instead of Gran Torino? Silly to the extreme and I will simply Shut Up And Smile.

agreed! I've now seen Gran Torino twice and I might well see it a few more times. Eastwood was AWESOME! It's a shame that those in Hollywood did not give him an Oscar nod. He easily would have won. Great movie.
